Turn your tax dollars into scholarships for United Friends School students.
Businesses in Pennsylvania have a unique opportunity to reduce tax liability by contributing to registered scholarship organizations. Through the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program, businesses can support scholarships at United Friends School and, in return, receive a tax credit equal to 90% of the contribution for a two-year commitment or 75% of the contribution for a one-year commitment.
Through United Friends School’s membership in The Friends Collaborative, individual investors now have the opportunity to receive tax credits for supporting scholarships for UFS students. Individuals and businesses in Pennsylvania can participate in The Friends Collaborative by making a minimum contribution of $3,000 per year for two consecutive years in support of scholarships at UFS and fellow Pennsylvania Quaker schools. In turn, participants receive a Pennsylvania state tax credit for 90% of their contribution. For example, a $10,000 Friends Collaborative gift to support our scholarship program has a net cost of just $1,000 to the donor. United Friends School receives at least 75% of every contribution from our donors, and the remainder supports scholarships at other local Quaker schools, fostering the growth of Quaker education.
